She is the daughter of Robert Kardashian a lawyer of Armenian origin who defended former football player OJ Simpson, accused of murdering his former wife.Kim Kardashian remained relatively unknown to the public until Vivid released a porn video of her and R&B singer Ray-J. Kim settled with Vivid for $ 5 million after fighting the release was a lost cause. Kim later said this scandal was “not my most proud moment. It was humiliating. But now let’s move on. Not that I don’t think it’s [no one's] business, but I think I’ve done a good job of replacing negative things with positive things.”

Then she contradicted herself by saying: “After the fact, I said, ‘I wish I hadn’t done Playboy then’ because I wasn’t in the best shape of my life… I lost about 15 pounds, and I feel so proud. I look back and say, ‘Oh, my God, I was so heavy then.’”Despite her regrets about stripping for Playboy, the 30-year-old star posed naked again, covered only by silver body paint, this time for W magazine.After rumors surfaced about possible hookups with John Mayer or Gabriel Aubry, Halle Berry’s ex, Kim revealed in a People interview that she is enjoying her status as single at the present and that she has decided to focus on her career.
And that’s exactly what she did: recently, the reality star launched a watch collection and teamed up with Kanye West to work on a studio album.Their collaboration also sparked rumors that a romance might be going on between them. Recently, during an interview with Extra, Kim talked about working with Kanye saying, “I think I’ve just been having a lot of fun.” Her sister Khloe quickly added “That’s because they’re boning,” to which Kim responded, “That came out of Khloe’s mouth, not mine!”
